The Carniolan Investment Company, established in 1993, continues the tradition of the powerful Carniolan Industrial Company which was the principal motor of development of the Duchy of Carniola in the 19th century. It laid the foundations of the ironworking, mining, hydroelectric and timber industries.
Today the Carniolan Investment Company, with the help of its subsidiaries, is a developer of real estate projects through which it creates an environment for the needs of the 21st century. It also operates in the fields of tourism and hotels (the Mons Hotel and Congress Centre, the Pule Estate) and provides parking services (parking garages).
